Dinner with local Latin American immigrants:
- This fall, Davidson College students, faculty, and staff will unite with local Latin American immigrants in an eight-week intercultural extravaganza! Coming together for a shared meal, participants will explore issues our communities face, build relationships, and ultimately engage in advocacy. Our end goal is to create a documentary that will amplify immigrant voices as we share it with local government officials, nonprofit organizations, and community members.
- Students, don’t miss this opportunity to:
Practice your Spanish with native speakers
Listen to people whose voices don’t always get heard
Learn about their cultures, experiences, and opinions
Build intercultural relationships
Find community in a diverse group
Advocate for immigrant rights and opportunities alongside the immigrant community
- It’s also a chance to:
Pop the Davidson Bubble
Enjoy a free meal!
